I have a small dying job on the go. (Was supposed to have been finished, but I'm running behind schedule. The plan for Sunday performance readiness was: Monday after work - finish costume pieces; Tue, Wed, Thu after work - class/practice; Fri after work and Saturday - panic. I missed Monday's deadline... but I'm not panicked yet. I may not have time for that now!) I've dyed a test strip of Paj silk for a veil, and I'm happy with the colours. Now all I need to do is hem the full-size piece and dye it to match the test strip... One reason I haven't done it (silly, i know) is that my local silk supplier has a sale on, and I was planning to go back and get more grey goods to dye in the same run. An accent skirt to match the veil would be great, and a couple of skeins of yarn that I could make up later...

Hmmm... think I'll have to do the veil tonight, even though I won't have been able to get to the shop during hteir opening hours (conflicts with my work hours at the moment).
