Fiber Studio Apprentice Position
Art Fibers, a well-known and very unique yarn shop is looking to hire a full time apprentice for our dye studio. The job duties would include but are not limited to, assisting current textile artists with preparing yarn for dying, and cleaning duties. Any previous fiber experience (knit, crochet, dying, etc.) is appreciated, but not necessary.
The ideal candidate would be a great listener, great team player, respectful of others, motivated, cautious, able to concentrate on task at hand, and able to accept constructive criticism. Job applicants should also be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and not possess any allergies to fibers.
The job is located in Vallejo, current employees carpool from Oakland and Berkeley.
Pay for the position is $12/hourly with a chance for advancement.
